Tonight is a big night for Brody - his first sleep in his "BIG BED". Brody's new bed is his Uncle Andrew's bed when he was a little guy. My mom and dad brought it down this morning and I helped my dad set it up. We have been talking to Brody about getting to sleep in Uncle Andrew's "Big Bed" and he was soo excited to see it in his room. We put him down to bed at 7:30pm...I had to go up to put him back into bed at 7:45pm, went back to up again at 8pm, and now at 8:30pm I can still hear him talking to himself (I actually just went up to make sure he was still in his bed - he was - whew!!). At his daycare he has to sleep on a cot, so I'm hoping that this won't be a huge shock for him....time will tell though. I also have to admit that I resorted to bribery....if he stays in his bed all night he gets a timbit when he wakes up - whatever works:)
