These boots were made for walking....

Chloe is walking!!! She took her first steps last week and is becoming more and more confident. I had hoped that when she started walking that the climbing may not interest her as much - BOY, was I wrong! Just this week, I have caught her on the coffee table and KITCHEN table!! Baby-proofing has taken on a whole meaning in our house! Kaitlyn can stand on her own, but isn't ready to take those first steps yet. To be honest, I'm a bit relieved that they aren't doing this at the same time - that would make things REALLY busy!

The girls had their one year appointments earlier this week, our Doctor says that they are doing great. Due to the fact that they were eight weeks premature, when they have their well-baby check ups, the nurses/doctors would use they're "corrected/adjusted age" (their due date) to determine where they were on the baby growth chart - if they were to use their actual age, they may not be on the charts - well, I'm happy to say that their head circumference, weight and height caught up to babies their own age - you grow girls!!

Brody is having a great summer so far, he's done two sessions of camp (three mornings a week), trips to the cottage and had a pool party last weekend (Thank you Justin and Sara for hosting - we had a great time!!)

It was my birthday yesterday and I wanted to say thank you to everyone for the phone calls, emails, and voicemail messages - it made me feel very special:)
