Mealtime Milestone....

Tonight was another first in the Cox household - Kaitlyn and Chloe had their first attempt at feeding themselves with a spoon. I have been putting this off for a little while now, as mealtime is extremely messy and chaotic (it's ridiculous, my kitchen looks like a bomb went off and it drives me nuts!) So, until tonight, Mike and I always fed them anything that required a spoon to eat. I was fully prepared to be wiping squash soup from the walls and dodging flying spoons throughout dinner - Kaitlyn has remarkable aim for a 17 month old....but luckily that didn't happen tonight. There were a few OVER DRAMATIC tears from Chloe when Kaitlyn stole her spoon, but other than that it didn't go so bad. Oh yes, another trait of Chloe's has been coming out more and more lately - she is a MAJOR drama queen, she can turn the tears on and off like a tap - we're in trouble - BIG TIME!
