Merry Christmas Everyone!! Another Christmas has come and gone.....and what a fun time we had:) Everyone was spoiled rotten. I for one, am thrilled with my Christmas gifts - one of my favourites - a remote car starter - AWESOME!!! I have been asking for this gift for the past few years - this will make my winter more bearable:) This year, Brody and I made an attempt at decorating a gingerbread house - I think that it turned out pretty good:) Turns out the kids LOVE gingerbread and, in addition the excitment of Christmas, have been on a sugar high for two days which has made life very BUSY for Mike and I!!! The withdrawl begins tomorrow!
Santa made his stop at our house and the kids made out like bandits:) Like last year, it was busy, but more manageable and a lot more fun - we enjoyed watching the kids opening up presents and playing with their new toys. Brody was happy with all his trains, a RED DUMP TRUCK, and a train whisle (not sure what Santa was thinking with that gift!?!?!) and the girls have been tearing apart and literally climbing all over their new kitchen! What a difference a year makes!
For Christmas breakfast, I made french toast with fresh fruit. This may not sound like a big deal, but it was a total treat for me as EVERYONE ATE IT!!!! In addition to meal time at our house being very, VERY messy, rarely does everyone eat the same thing. (I know, bad habit.) So, Christmas morning was a moment for me - for the first time in 19 months, I have not had to make someone else a different meal - HALLELUIAH!
We hope that you all have had a wonderful Christmas holiday with your family and friends:)
