This summer has been the summer of POOLS for EVERYONE on our street except the Cox family - all day long I hear workers building pools, kids jumping in pools, keeping cool and having fun while I sit with my feet in the baby pool or slip on mud from the sprinkler - it's not fair I tell ya!!!
Well, big surprise another house is getting a pool this week, so I make the kids sit on our porch to watch the bobcat and diggers work away. Although the kids think the equipment is cool and fun to watch , my goal is that one of the workers will take pity on these cute little faces and build us a pool - here's to small miracles:)
On another note, my sister and I just went to the movies to see "The Help". I read this book in June and LOVED LOVED LOVED the book and the movie was great too. Go see it and bring kleenex - LOTS of them.....I didn't bring any and now I have a massive lump in my throat, a little headache and my eyes are still getting teary just thinking about it - pathetic, I know.
