This has been an amazing weekend - the weather has been fabulous and we've been outside as much as possible! On Good Friday, our friends Laura and Gerry Bourne hosted an Easter Egg hunt at their house - we had such a great time and the kids had a blast!
Saturday, we packed up the kids and went down to the lake where there is a great park for kids of all ages - Brody LOVED it! (For those of you in the Halton area it's located at Burloak and Lakeshore) It wasn't as big a hit with Chloe, so we had to leave a little earlier than planned - the screaming was getting a bit much. Unfortunately, having to leave early didn't go over well with Brody, so he also became quite upset - I swear, you could hear my kids from a mile away! Thankfully, bribery is a wonderful thing and once Brody calmed down enough to hear us tell him he could have a timbit, all was well in his world.
Tomorrow, Nanny and Grandad (the Cox's) will be coming for Easter dinner. Alice has offered to make dinner and bring it to our place - how nice!! I'm looking forward to it!
