Two weekends ago, Christine and I took a little getaway to Las Vegas! She and I had a terrific time - we stayed at the Mirage and tried to fit in as much as we possibly could in 4 days. We sat by the pool, watched "O" at the Bellagio, went out to really nice restaurants for dinner, went shopping at the outlet malls, walked around the Vegas strip and saw celebrities - real and wax ones:) We came back to reality on Monday (last week) - it was great to get away to recharge our batteries, but we sure did miss our families - it's always nice to come home:)
This week has been beautiful and yesterday my sister and the girls came over for a playdate - the kids had a blast playing with the cars, trikes, and lawnmowers but the hit of the day was the bubble machine - if you have kids/grandkids and don't have one, you need to get one - they are the best thing - all three of the kids loved it!!
