The past few days have been absolutely beautiful, which means lots of time outside for the troops and I! Yesterday our neighbours daughter, Amy, came by to take Brody for a swim. Last year, we were so busy with the girls that we weren't able to make it to the cottage very often or even enroll Brody in swimming lessons, so this was new territory for the little fella. He was scared (to put it mildly) at first, but Amy (who happens to be a swim instructor) was so calm and patient with him, eventually he felt confident enough to try to blow bubbles and kick a few times while she walked around with him. I'm hoping the weather will stay nice and we'll be able to go out a few more times.
We've also be spending lots of time at the park - the kids love it:) I'm learning to time our visits to park so all the kids can be on the swings at once as we take up half of the available swings - I have to say it's quite a task pushing them all at once! By the time we leave the park, I'm not sure who's more exhausted, the kids or me!
