Mother's Day and Weekend away

Last Wednesday, I was invited to Brody's daycare for a Mother's Day party! They had all the Moms come in the morning to join the kids for snack time - the chef prepared all sorts of yummy treats and much to my surprise a special menu for Brody - Lactose Free!!! A few months ago, when our entire household came down with the Norwalk virus, I guess I had asked the daycare to keep him off milk products until his tummy settled down. Well, obviously I had forgotten about this special request and Brody's been living Lactose-free at daycare ever since - opps!! Eventually, I got over the guilt of my lack of communication over the lactose free menu and had a really great time getting to know Brody's fellow classmates, parents and teachers. It was really well done:)

This weekend, Mike and I headed up to the cottage for my cousin, Curt and his fiancee, Janine's, Stag and Doe. We had such a great time - I'm not sure but it seemed like there was at least 400 people there - WOW!! Any stag and doe I have been to has always been in a hall or auditorium, well.... this one was on the arena floor - it was really fun!!! Can't wait for the wedding:)

In addition to the stag and doe this weekend, it was also my sisters birthday! Happy Birthday Christine - hope that you enjoyed your night out!!!
