Waking behind the Pipe Band, waving at Daddy!
The closest we could get Brody to Blinky!!
Being silly with Papa:)
This past weekend we headed up to the cottage! The kids were SUPER exicted to be there, when we arrived and opened up the van door they all were waving their arms and kicking their legs - it was cute!
We took Brody to the Kincardine Bag Pipe Band on Saturday night. From mid-May to late August, the Bag Pipe Band marches down Queen St in Kincardine followed by hundreds of tourists and locals - it's quite an event and as the kids get older, I'm hoping that it will become a Saturday night tradition while we are at the cottage (we went a lot when we were kids). This was Brody's first time going - he was looking forward to walking in the "parade" and getting to meet Blinky (the Pipe Band mascot)....however, he's not the bravest soul, so as soon as we saw Blinky, he said "Brody go home now please...." Ha, at least he was polite about it. He did march behind the band, so all in all it was a success!
Kaitlyn took two steps on Monday - I'm not sure if she realized what she was doing and I think that I scared the heck out of her when she did it - we were so happy for her! I've been trying today to get her to walk and haven't had any luck.....
Yesterday was Laura's 21st birthday! Happy Birthday, we hope that you had a terrific day! oxox
