Our sick little man....

This past week, the Cox Family headed up to the beautiful shores of Lake Huron and stayed at our family cottage in Bruce Beach! Everything was going so smoothly, the kids were having a blast spending time on the beach and visiting with their relatives, the weather was great and we were just starting to settle into our "Cottage Life" routine, then the unthinkable happened...three out of five of us come down with a vicious stomach virus! Aren't these "bugs" only suppose to happen in the winter - NOT on the family summer vacation!!! It started with Brody getting sick, moved onto me and then Kaitlyn - Mike has been feeling "unwell" for a few days now and at this point Chloe has somehow dodged the bullet, time will tell though. Anyways, once Kaitlyn came down with the flu, we decided that it might be better to be at home, so we came home two days early.

As we were packing everything up to come back to the city, I was reminding myself that someday we will look back on this experience and laugh...and I have to say that as I look at the pictures from our week away it already makes me smile:)
